FAQ's

1. How do I apply for free and reduced meals?

A free and reduced meal application can be submitted online at LINQ Connect - Making Schools Stronger. A paper application can be printed or requested via mail by calling 307-771-2440. Paper applications may be returned to your student’s school or the Nutrition Services Office located at 3320 Maxwell Avenue.

2. Do I need to submit a new free and reduced application each school year?

Yes, a new application must be submitted each school year to qualify for free or reduced priced meals. Nutrition Services provides a 30-day carryover period in which the household's eligibility status carries over from the previous school year for the first 30 days of the new school year. This provides households with time to submit an updated application.

Smart Spoon Café at LCSD1 prides themselves in providing a wide range of fresh fruits and vegetables and a variety of entrées. Many of our menu items are homemade including our famous chili and cinnamon rolls and we are working to add more homemade items every year!
